The Federal Government has disclosed its readiness to leave no stone unturned, using all available resources to ensure that Nigerian innovations become globally competitive.

The Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Dr. Sen. Adeleke Olorunimbe Mamora made this known at a meeting with the Association of Nigerian Inventors in Abuja recently.

The Minister said that “Nigeria is blessed with abundant innovative minds to turn around her fortunes, but the challenge is wooing key industrialists to partner and commercialize research findings”

He added that relief efforts were on the way to ensure that solutions to these challenges were met. He further urged innovators to look for partners, industrialists, and business people to help showcase their innovations to the world.

The Minister of State for Science, Technology, and Innovation, Chief Henry Ikoh in his earlier address gave the assurances that the Federal Government would do all it takes to ensure that Nigerians become beneficiaries of indigenous innovations.

The President of the Association of Nigerian Inventors, Inventor Lawrence Nzenagu said his members would play key roles in the wheel of nation’s progress and ascent towards industrialization.

He urged for more collaborative partnerships between indigenous innovators, the Federal Government, and the Organised Private Sector.
